A south African pastor/prophet  has claimed that he went through the pearly gates in to heaven during the Easter weekend. He even has some photos to prove it- which he took with his Samsung Galaxy smart phone.

The prophet is known as Mboro, the leader of Incredible ministries. According to his spokesman, Prophet Mboro was ‘captured’ by angels during the Easter Sunday service, taken to heaven and came back that same day. The spokesman added that the pictures taken in heaven are available at a cost of 5,000 Rand (almost USD 340) and can be sent to recipients via Whatsapp.

ANTONIO CONTE APPOINTED NEW CHELSEA BOSS

                               
Antonio Conte has been appointed Chelsea's first-team head coach on a three-year contract.

Conte succeeds Jose Mourinho, who was sacked as manager in December, and will take up his role after managing Italy in this summer's European Championships, Chelsea announced.

The 46-year-old said on chelseafc.com: "I am happy we have made the announcement now so everything is clear and we can end the speculation.

ATEBUBU CHIEFS BAN MP FOR UNSAVOURY COMMENTS

The Atebubu Traditional Council has banned the Member of Parliament (MP) for Atebubu - Amantin, Mr Sanja Nanja from visiting the palace of the Omanhene effective April 3, 2016.

As part of the ban, the Omanhene and his sub chiefs will not attend any event organised by the government if the MP is present.

This was contained in a press release signed by the Omanehene, Nana Owusu Akyeaw Brempong I and made available to the Daily Graphic.

DR. ABDUL-NASHIRU ISSAHAKU APPOINTED BOG GOVERNOR

                             
Dr. Abdul-Nashiru Issahaku has been appointed as the Governor of the Bank of Ghana to replace Dr Henry Kofi Wampah who retired last week.

Dr Issahaku prior to this new appointment was the second deputy governor of the central bank since July 2013.

His appointment by President John Dramani Mahama was confirmed in a statement issued by the Communications Minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah on Monday afternoon.

VIDEO: OBINIM BOYS INSULT TV3 EMPLOYEES

                              
Two junior pastors of Bishop Daniel Obinim’s Church, International God’s Way Chapel, have launched a scathing attack on all workers of local television station TV3, using unprintable words in a video shared on social media site facebook.

The pastors were unhappy after the station used a dog to represent Bishop Obinim on live TV as an April Fool Prank on April 1, 2016, a day after the National Communication Authority withdrew the licenses of OBTV and other nine stations.

The duo launched their scathing attacks in a video recording, which is trending on social media.

STATEMENT: NPP BOYCOTTS NEAT & OKAY FM; DESPITE GROUP RESPONDS

                                    
The New Patriotic Party says it has with immediate effect boycotted all political programmes on two radio stations owned by the Despite Group of Companies.

The NPP in a statement issued on Sunday April 3, 2016 accused Okay FM and Neat FM of “consistently discussing all matters of the NPP with a negative slant”.

“The New Patriotic Party (NPP) wishes to inform its members, supporters, and sympathisers that the Party has decided to boycott all political programmes on Okay FM and Neat FM, with immediate effect,” the NPP said.

According to the party, “The mission and vision of the stations currently seem to be to destroy the NPP.”

KNUST STUDENT JAILED 10 YEARS FOR ROBBERY

                                                      
A twenty-five year old third year chemistry student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has been sentenced to 10 years in hard labour for robbing a fellow student. 

Kennedy Nana Yaw Abrokwa was handed the sentence by the Kumasi Circuit Court presided over by Mrs Mary Nsenkyire on Thursday March 31, 2016.

He pleaded guilty to one count of robbery and was convicted on his own plea by the court.

ASANTE KOTOKO COACH DAVID DUNCAN ASKED TO STEP ASIDE

                                
The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has asked Coach David Duncan to “step aside” following the string of poor results recorded by the Porcupines in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko lost 1-0 to Aduana Stars at Dormaa on match day six. That was the team’s third away defeat since February 20, 2016 when they lost 2-0 to WAFA. The Porcupines have since drawn two times and won only once.
