SHEVCHENKO WANTS TO BE CHELSEA COACH AFTER CONTE
Chelsea may only have appointed new manager Antonio Conte last week but that hasn’t stopped Andriy Shevchenko putting his hat in the ring to become their boss in the future.
The legendary striker struggled during his spell in the Premier League after a £30million move from AC Milan.
But that hasn’t put the 39-year-old off and he admitted that he would be keen to manage Chelsea in the future.
‘Life is like that, you never know,’ he said.
‘I have a very good relationship with the club. I will try and be a manager in the future.
‘Chelsea is a great team and club. It was good and fun playing there.
‘I loved the fans because Chelsea fans are very special. They treated me very well to support me during my time here.’
