A popular entertainment joint, Vienna City around the Kwame Nkrumah circle has been razed down fire. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 1930GMT (7:30pm local time). There were no major casualties recorded but according to reports it took firemen several hours to control the rampaging fire.
Vienna City - Accra is in the same enclave where over 150 people died on June 3, 2015 following torrential rains that caused heart wrenching fire and flood disaster.
