Angel FM, Georgia Hotel, Nurom Hotel Closed Down For Debt

Kumasi based Angel FM which transmits on the 96.1 frequency has been closed down by the Ghana Revenue Authority.

The closure comes after a three months grace period given the station by the Ghana Revenue Authority to pay up an estimated 1.8 billion elapsed.

Barely four months ago, the National Media Commission also invaded the station’s premises for reasons yet unknown.

Angel FM is part of other business entities which have been closed down by the Ghana Revenue Authority. Other institutions include Georgia Hotel and Nurom hotel
