Two-Headed Calf Causes Panic Among Villagers In Peru

A calf born with two heads has caused panic among residents of the north western Cajamarca region in Peru.

The animal born with two fully formed heads has two noses, two sets of eyes and two mouths. Despite having a pair of mouths it cannot feed itself as his heads are too heavy. The little mutant is not only unable to lift its heads to eat but it barely stands on its feet.

The calf which was born in the community of Vista Alegre immediately attracted thousands of curious onlookers. Some of them branded the unusual creature as a bad omen from God sent by the almighty as a warning over all the evils in the world.
Others also believe that it was a mythical birth and a good sign for locals. Meanwhile, more materially-minded residents consider such a mutation was caused by the use of antibiotics during the cow’s pregnancy period or environmental pollution in the region.
