Man Injects Illegal Drug To Become Black

A man claims that he injected himself with an unregulated synthetic hormone or otherwise illegal drug to make his skin super dark.

According to Daily Mail, the man shared his story with photos showing his transformation from pale-skinned to dark-skinned male on popular social network Reddit.


Reddit user n3glv who earlier had pale, fair skin accompanied by bright blue eyes claims the drug Melanotan-II, a drug that increases levels of the pigment melanin in the skin, is to blame for his tanned look.

The drug has never been approved by government agencies and has not made it out of clinical trials.
Though the photos were shared around the internet in 2013, n3glv said in the thread that he has started to use the drug again.
