Man Arrested for Liking His Ex's Photos on Facebook

A man in Pennsylvania was arraigned on charges of violating a no-contact restraining order by allegedly liking 22 photos and videos on his ex-girlfriend's Facebook page.

According to the Protection From Abuse application, April Holland, 24, had obtained the restraining order after she claims her ex, Justin Bellanco, 26, had been stalking and harassing her friends, as well as telling her he would shoot her in the knee cap just to watch her suffer.

Court records also state that Bellanco previously obtained a Protection From Abuse against Holland in April 2014 after he says she choked him during a fight, but that expired in April 2015. A judge granted the order protecting Holland from Bellanco on August 4, barring him from any contact with her, but that apparently didn't stop him from breaking it soon after online.

When Holland exited City Hall after showing police the likes on her Facebook page, she says she saw Bellanco nearby. Officers asked him what he was doing there and he said he was just coming from his home, which officers say was nowhere near there.
Police say that Bellanco claimed he didn't know that liking things on Facebook violated his PFA.
He has since been released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
