Mahama expresses confidence in 40-year development plan

President John Mahama has expressed confidence that 40-year national development plan drawn up by the National Development Planning Commission’s would serve as a framework for the long-term development on the country.

He made this known Tuesday when he delivered a keynote address at the unveiling of the plan in Accra.

“Together today we are taking a clear and collective decision not to repeat the mistakes of our past.
“It is a process that should afford us the opportunity to have honest and open discussions of our aspirations as a people and what we need to do to realise these aspirations,” President Mahama said.
