Floyd Mayweather was at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Saturday night to unveil a portrait of himself after receiving the Fighter of the Year award from the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.

Mayweather, who accepted the award from boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, has fought just twice in the last 12 months, beating Marcos Maidana by unanimous decision last September, before defeating Manny Pacquiao by the same method in May.

The boxing superstar said: 'The object of the game is to hit and not be hit. Be smart. When I retire, I’ll have all my faculties so I can spend time with my family.'
