Davido Banned In Nigeria

A new list of songs has been banned by the Nigeria National Broadcasting Commission. The monthly list for July 2015 includes some of Nigeria’s biggest songs including Phyno’s Yayo, Olamide’s Falila Ketan, Lil Kesh’s Gbese Re O and Davido’s Fans Mi which has been man marked with the Not To Be Broadcasted (NTBB) tag.

Check out the list of songs after the cut...
Songs affected range from the current to past hit songs. Olamide’s music appears twice on the list. The buzzing ‘Bobo’ single, and his collaboration with CDQ and Masterkraft ‘Indomie’ are affected. Wizkid’s ‘In my bed’, Phyno’s ‘Yayo’, Reminisce’s ‘Tesojue’, Iyanya’s ‘Gift, and many others.
Bad gift: Iyanya and Don Jazzy's collaboration 'Gift' was banned too.

Davido’s controversial visual for ‘Fans mi’ also took a hit, but with a special reason. The NBC frowned on it because the “Video promotes ostentatious lifestyle, violence, drug trafficking and indecent exposure.”
