Cute school kids re-enact infamous football moments

  • Mario Balotelli wrote his name in Manchester City folklore with his celebration against Man U
Award-winning photographer George Logan captured some of the sport's most notorious bad boy incidents for a project called 'Football's Bad Boys'.

The children were caught re-enacting Diego Maradon's controversial Hand of God goal against England, as well as Paolo Di Canio's dramatic referee push.

Rather than having the school children copy responsible role models, Mr Logan had the children replay David Beckham's petulant kick against Argentina and Luis Suarez's bizarre World Cup bite on Branislav Ivanovic.
The Scottish photographer also had a schoolpupil don a 'Why Always Me?' shirt in honour of Mario Balotelli's infamous Old Trafford celebration for Manchester City.

While kids were also snapped emulating Paul Gascoigne's hilarious dentist chair celebration and Zinedine Zidane's brutal World Cup head butt.

Mr Logan said: "We chose incidents that could influence kids in the wrong way.

“We wanted to create a series of photographs which highlighted whether a game which is more and more obsessed with giant salaries and celebrity lifestyles, is still creating the right role models for Britain’s youth.

“The dentist chair with Gazza was the most memorable and painful for me as it was after a goal against Scotland.

“The Maradona Hand of God shot was probably the most fun and challenging to recreate.

“The kids had knew the players and teams involved even if most of the incidents were before their time."
