A bullfighter who was seriously injured in May when he was gored in the neck has returned to the ring… and promptly gored in the neck again.
The bull’s horn went through Saul Jimenez Fortes’s chin in an upward trajectory and reached the base of his skull following the goring yesterday in Vitigudino, Salamanca.
It was his first time back in the ring since a horrific injury that left him needing several hours of surgery when he was gored in the ring in Madrid.
In the latest incident he was in surgery for four hours and is currently in a serious but stable condition.
