Adentan Shouldn’t Be A “Prostitute Constituency”…Retain Me As Your MP – Ashie Moore

Ashie-Moore
Ever heard of a “Prostitute Constituency” in Ghana? – Oh Yes, we have one in Ghana with NDC’s Nii Ashie Moore as a Member of Parliament.

The Adentan constituency according to records since its creation in 2004 has changed its lawmaker in every election – a situation which is a worry to the incumbent MP.

Mallam Yusif Ali
Ahead of the NDC primaries, Nii Ashie Moore has pleaded with the electorates to retain him as Adentan MP so as to untag the constituency as a “prostitute.”

Ashie Moore faces a stiff competition in former Minister of Youth and Sports under the erstwhile Kuffour Administration, Mallam Ali Yusif Issah.

Although he is very optimistic of winning the primaries – he still insists that the constituency must not keep changing its Member of Parliament frequently.

“Adentan cannot continue to have a new MP every four (4) years as has been the tradition. As a Marketing Consultant I know how difficult it is to market a new product.”

“…This is not the time to elect a new candidate, whenever the name Ashie Moore which is widely known is mentioned it brings mixed reaction, we can’t afford to always have a back bencher MP in Parliament. Adentan must not be termed as a 'prostitute constituency' with our regular change of MPs,” He said on NEAT FM's morning show "Ghana Montie".
