Traditional priests at June 3 disaster zone to ward off ghosts

Traditional priests of the Ga Traditional Council have been at the Nkrumah Circle disaster zone to perform rituals to ward off ghosts.

The people around the GOIL Filling Station in Accra where over 150 people died in an explosion and flood on June say they keep hearing the screams of those who died at midnight.
According to the residents, the GOIL Filling Station, in particular, has become more or less like a haunted zone “and there is some heaviness on you when you walk pass that place after 10pm.”

The Wulomei have poured libation to the gods asking for the spirits of the dead to depart the place.

A few of the residents and workers around the area have rubbished the claims, arguing it is a figment of people’s imagination.

The GOIL filling station which has become a centre of attraction for some time now has been cordoned off for investigations.
