No Big Brother Africa this year… reality tv show on hold

The 2015 edition of reality television show, Big Brother Africa, has been put on hold, producers say.

A statement issued in Accra Tuesday said:

“while regional Big Brother shows are being produced, including Big Brother Angola and Big Brother Mzansi, the continental version of the show is currently on hold.  Big Brother continues to  captivate audiences in each market in which it is produced, and the move to regionalise the show allows producers to re-evaluate the direction of the show.

Last year the 9th season of Big Brother Africa was postponed by a month after a devastating fire swept through the Sasani Studios complex with the blaze which caused millions of rands of damage. It is produced by M-Net and Endemol.”
