Sam Smith Won't Be Bothered By Gay Slurs

 British pop superstar Sam Smith has unveiled his life-size wax statue at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco and he is inviting fans to cozy up to it. The Grammy Award winner visited the museum on Monday and told fans to "Feel free to touch my wax bum!"

 “Possibly the most surrealist experience of my life…” the 23-year-old singer said about the moment on Instagram. “I have ALWAYS wanted to look up my own nose, now it’s possible haha.”

Sam took to social media the next day to share his thoughts on an Instagram account that was created to send gay slurs to him.

“This genuinely doesn’t offend me, coz I’m way too tick skinned when it comes to this kind of shit. BUT I just wanted to share this with everyone, so you can see how homophobia is still SO PRESENT in our society!!” Sam said.

After the reveal, Sam proudly took photographs of him kissing and licking the statue on the cheek...
