Chelsea Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois Accused Of Cheating On His Girlfriend With Belgian Model

A would-be Miss Belgium has plunged Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois into an embarrassing kiss-and-tell scandal.

Emily Vanhoutte, a 20-year-old model from the keeper's native Belgium, said she began an affair with the Belgium international just before he travelled to last summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

This was despite 22-year-old Courtois being with his long-term girlfriend, Spanish beauty Marta Dominguez, 25.

Speaking to the Belgian media this week, Ms Vanhoutte said she was shocked to later discover that Courtois was already taken.

She said: ‘I would never do anything to start an affair with a man who cheats on his girlfriend. I did not know he had a girlfriend and led a double life.

Speaking to TV Family magazine, Ms Vanhoutte said she first met Courtois at Versuz, a disco in Hasselt, the city in the Limburg province of Belgium, just before he headed off for Brazil last year.

Courtois has not commented on the claims, but his angry family have accused women like Ms Vanhoutte of ‘smelling money’.

It is not the first time Courtois has been accused of cheating on his partner. In October last year the keeper was linked with £4-an-hour tapas waitress Jeny Sanchez, 25. The pair were again said to have met online.

Courtois was also accused of cheating with Caroline Lijnen, the ex-girlfriend of Kevin De Bruyne, his Belgium team-mate, who used to play for Chelsea but is now at Wolfsburg.
